The SVB LIVE series of events feature Global Networking Events and the annual SVB LIVE Conference & Exhibition, attracting top industry executives from across the sports and live entertainment landscape. Following on from the hugely successful 2024 SVB Conference & Exhibition held at Croke Park, which welcomed 240 attendees, the 2025 SVB LIVE Conference & Exhibition saw a staggering 300 high-level executives descend on Villa Park, home of Premier League side Aston Villa Football Club, with an Opening Night Icebreaker kicking things off in style at bp pulse LIVE, and closing in the same manner with a tour of St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park with insights from Nick Smith, Birmingham City FC’s Head of Infrastructure, on the planned new stadium development.
For 2026, we move to Everton Football Club’s spectacular new Hill Dickinson Stadium on October 1st and 2nd, for two-packed days of intense learning and networking. An opening night icebreaker at Liverpool FC’s iconic Anfield stadium will set things off in style on Wednesday September 30th.
The SVB LIVE Awards will be an exciting new addition from 2026 onwards.
The latest SVB LIVE Global Networking Event saw 160+ industry executives descend on Fulham Pier; this sold-out edition was delivered in association with Portview, with attendees enjoying a very special tour of the stunning new Riverside Stand. More editions TBC.

SVB LIVE incorporates Global Networking Events, the first of which was held in Perth, Australia, in March 2024. The second took place at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne in June 2024. The third was held at Leopardstown Racecourse in Dublin, Ireland, in January 2025.
The latest SVB LIVE Global Networking Event at Fulham Pier took place in June 2025, delivered in association with Portview, and was completely sold out, with 160 attendees. Further editions TBC.

Katie McIntyre, CEO & Founder
With 25+ years experience in the business of sport, McIntyre first cut her teeth in the industry by running PanStadia magazine, where she was Publishing Editor, before spending 3 years as Publication Director on PanStadia & Arena Management magazine, which included working on the Stadia & Arena Asia Pacific event.

McIntyre launched Sports Venue Business (SVB) in September 2016, which quickly became the leading platform for the sector, delivering insightful interviews, in-depth feature articles and case studies, as well as media-rich content in the form of video interviews, with more than 33,000+ industry professionals across the network. The platform includes not only the website but also the 'Sports Venue Business' group on LinkedIn, which boasts 9,000+ high ranking industry professional members, a Weekly e-News Report that goes to 14,500+ industry execs, a Facebook page, which has 5,000+ followers and the Twitter account (@SportsVenueBiz), which has more than 2,800 followers.
Between 2018 and 2023, McIntyre organised and delivered the ALSD International event on behalf of the Association of Luxury Suite Directors, which grew from 120 attendees in the first year, to an astounding 450+ C-Suite executives by 2023.
For 2024, McIntyre and Sports Venue Business have launched SVB LIVE (Live Industry Venue Experience), featuring a series of global networking events and webinars, all culminating in the annual SVB LIVE Conference and Exhibition, with content driven by an Expert Council featuring industry experts from across the globe.
Rounding off the comprehensive offering is SVB's consultancy arm, providing industry insights, marketing, introductions and professional videography services; a recent video produced for Stadium Solutions by Arena reached more than 26,000 views on YouTube alone.
